Note: SteadyPoint Asset Management has been retired. We’re working on bringing it out of retirement soon, but for now, it is unavailable.
If you have purchased a license for both SteadyPoint Helpdesk and SteadyPoint Assets Management, you can integrate the two a in seamless way. The purpose of integration is to be able to create tickets for any registered asset in your organization, which will enable you to track asset history, attributes, owners, …etc. In addition to being to able to track reports for things such as the number of tickets created for a specific type of asset.
Integrating Assets Management with Helpdesk
1. Go to Settings on the left-hand side of your dashboard.
2. Under Helpdesk Settings, click on Miscellaneous Settings.
3. In the empty field box titled Assets Management URL, enter the URL for your Assets Management add-in. You need to copy the address starting with https and finishing with the installation location of the add-in on your tenant. When finished, click on save.
